Lao Beijing @ Plaza Sing

The Decor in this place is pretty cute....and being a big fan of dumplings and the like.....I naturally wanna try this place out.

Conclusion - great northern style dishes....some of the dishes are a little ex with too small a portion. Not bad at all.Great if you are craving for some decent Xiao Long Bao & though I did not eat the noodles..they frankly looked great to me.

Conpoy with Beancurd soup - too much soup and too little ingredients

Pickled cucumbers - seasoned with sesame oil, garlic and chilli , it is crunchy, fresh and very delicious

Xiao Long Bao - the texture is quite good here...though I qualify, not amazing....


One Sliced Pork- braised porked cut in one slice with pickled veges underneath, to be eaten with steamed buns. Its not as yummy as in Hangzhou version...but its good enough. A tad oily though.


Spinach Braised Beancurd - this is very good....soft beancurd with crispy skin......

Gyoza - I expected that the skin will be hand-made and chewy....but they used the Japanese skin, and it turned out a bit thin.....
