Sushi Kuu @ Wellington Street

This is a pretty famous establishment...they have my favourite shochu ( la tomato) and the sushi is great....Japanese food there is authentic North American Jap food ( note the rainbow rolls and things like that)!!...though not completely mind-blowing....but if you are looking for good-quality Japanese food, it is a pretty safe choice to go to...

Kiff kiff - my favourite Shochu

Hakodate Ramen @ Pan Hoi Street, QB

I always love ramen....carbs carbs and more carbs.....this place have springy noodles, a rather confused Japanese waitress ( who always looks shocked at the cantonese around her), and an overall congenial ambience....always great for an office lunch....where you need to load up on carbs to fight stress!

Shoyu Ramen - a tad too salty...but the taste of shoyu is amazing.....

Gyoza.....plump, fresh and irresistible...

Sushi Hiro @ Causeway Bay

Sushi Hiro is one of many good places to have sushi & sashimi in Hong Kong...I don't really trust the whole in the wall types...and the presence of the Japanese crowd reassured me..that it must be a good nice sushi bar. Very very delicious sushi...the freshness is something you can taste....luuurrvv it.

Lunch set is very worthwhile

very unpretentious ambience

House of Canton @ Cityplaza Taikoo Shing

Another Dim Sum blog.....I do not think I will ever encounter such variety of dim sum anywhere else in the world other than HK. Alright, House of Canton is a great dim sum place...the traditional dim sum is very delicious, with some unusual dishes...they are quite Shanghaiese style if I am not wrong..Great place to eat , even better than Maxims in the same building...though ambience is very typically chinese restaurant. These pictures are taken with Iphone 4 , in retrospect....it doesn't seem so great...

Dragon-i Dim Sum

Club by night and dim sum restaurant by day...this is such a strange concept, that I didn't find out until I started living in HK 3 years ago..Well, the dim sum there , is not too bad, but neither is it spectacular like some of the places I have been to in Hong Kong. They do a decent selection and the ambience is pretty good. Well, its fun with a group of like-minded friends and have dim sum there for 3 hours...and its near to my place...what more can I say......don't bother if you are looking for unique culinary experience though...
