KaSoh@Amoy Street

It was a dinner with my one of ex-girl-gang from HK, who is currently based in Sydney, and with her sister and her GF, and also another friend of ours.....

Since she is missing Singaporean Chinese food....we decided to go for Ka Soh ( local, decent, & in town) instead of chi chi dining places. Location was great coz we hop to the Library afterwards and had a full blown whisky night :)...and that is another story.

Very old school menu with the paper in plastic folders...

Prawn Paste Chicken - this is very yummy....moist on the inside and crispy on the outside.

Seafood Deep Fried Bean Curd - I know....a lot of deep fried stuff, but this is very yummy too.....

Sambal KangKong - though this is average, I actually enjoyed eating it. The wok hei really does gives it a certain complexity in taste

Ginger Frog Legs - I am such a big fan of frog meat, and this taste great!

Fish Meat Bee Hoon Soup - though this is supposed to be the signature dish....somehow, it is lacking in a bit of dimension. I much prefer the taste of soup in Maxwell market just a few blocks away........nonetheless, the fish is fresh....seems like the rest of the dishes are getting much better than the main one...
