XiYue (八月坊)@ Taikoo Shing

This place is just packed everyday...reservations are two weeks in advance...and is it worth the value? It is very good cantonese food, high quality, and pretty innovative...I wouldn't say it is the best I had..but it is pretty good.. They do Dim sum & cantonese food. Would recommend definately for a big group of friends for a gossipy chinese lunch/dinner...This is a Maxim's group restaurant and they also do Jasmine house (六月居)-see previous blog entry

This chain of maxim's restaurant really serves good tea


Crab meat wrapped with noodle  - interesting but not fantastic


stir-fried pea-shoot with mushrooms



Prawn Dumpling soaked in soup - yum

Vegetable Dumpling - yum

Hum Shui Ko - yum yum

Chestnut Jelly - battered and deep fried ..very nice

Ee- Fo Mee with Crab and Crab roe...this is really really good

Famous roast suckling pig - the skin is sooo wonderfully crispy...my legs wobble for this....
